PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENT

Performance measurement evaluates the success of an investment program within an established time horizon and against specified benchmarks.

Reports are designed to suit each client and utilize an internal proprietary performance measurement system.  Quarterly reports include a market summary which outlines the economic and market environment, detailed performance comparisons of each investment manager for numerous time periods, asset allocation versus policy, analysis of factors affecting performance and summary portfolio characteristics. 

Benchmarks are custom designed and monitored for the total investment program, each asset class and each manager.  Interpretation of performance attributes and qualitative insights relating to investment decisions result in an instructive analysis designed to provide value-added observations.

Recommendations relating to asset allocation, investment strategy and managers are a routine part of our reporting process.  We tend to be pro-active rather than reactive.
